what's up with SFgolfer?
We have (happily) been acquired by a national golf portal
currently in development, called The Golf Connection. We are excited
to be working on this new project and plan to bring you a golf portal
without equal on the internet.
Some of our content and services will be merged into this new portal,
launching soon. In the meantime, we are keeping available a number
of services that you all have come to rely on, such as the Golf
Map, Tee Times, the Discount Golf Storefront, and the Golf Vacations
engine.

tracking, (GolfServ Advantage) you guys can't cut me off !"
The old handicap system was provided through a third party content
provider called GolfServ Online, and you can still track your handicap
with their system by going to http://www.golfserv.com
and using the same login that you had before, but we certainly hope
you will consider switching to our new, improved system when it
becomes available. If you have any difficulties, please contact

"What about the Bay Area Golf Map?"
You can still use it here, but the ability to 'click-thru' to individual
course profiles has been disabled. To book a Tee Time in the Bay
Area, please select a network from the home
page. There will also be a new and improved golf map for the Bay
Area available at the new Golf Connection website.
"Can I still shop in the SFgolfer
pro shop?"
Most certainly. We are still committed to bringing you top brand
golf equipment at bargain prices. Visit
the Pro Shop right now to take advantage of the Holiday Sale,
and we do appreciate your keeping your business with us.
"What about the vacation booking
engine, it looks different.."
That's because it is. Think of this as a rough preview of the new
booking engine that will be available on the new GolfConnection.com
website. You are now able to access the same low ticket prices as
Expedia.com, (even consolidator rates up to 65% off) as well as
the same hotel booking engine as Hotels.com (over 40,000 properties).
We'll also be offering terrific Golf Vacation packages, giving you
the ease of being able to plan everything from one place.

We are still based in the Bay Area, and will be working with the
new GolfConnection.com web site. We have played many great rounds
of golf with SFgolfer.com members, and have had a lot of fun with
